Internal reporting office of Berlin TXL Management GmbH

On July 2, 2023, the Whistleblower Protection Act (HinSchG) came into force, which protects whistleblowers who draw attention to legal violations in companies or authorities with which they are professionally associated. If, in the course of your professional activities for Berlin TXL Management GmbH, you become aware that applicable law is being violated within the company or in connection with it, you can contact the internal reporting office set up in implementation of the HinSchG.

By making a report to the internal reporting office, you give us the opportunity to clarify the matter immediately and take appropriate measures, in particular to avoid the legal violation in the future. The Internal Reporting Office, which is staffed by the external Compliance Officer, attorney Dr. Stefanie Lejeune,

  • receives information on possible legal violations in relation to Berlin TXL Management GmbH and examines their validity,
  • confirms receipt of the notification to the whistleblower within seven days and asks the whistleblower for any further information required,
  • checks whether the reported violation falls within the scope of application of the HinSchG for the Internal Reporting Office and
  • informs the whistleblower about follow-up measures within three months of the confirmation of receipt, provided that this does not affect internal investigations and the rights of the persons affected by the whistleblowing are not impaired.

In order for the whistleblower to receive the full protection of the HinSchG against personal disadvantages or reprisals, they should

  1. of the accuracy of the incident they wish to report,
  2. to the extent possible, examine whether the incident could actually constitute a violation of applicable law, and
  3. to the Internal Reporting Office using the communication channels provided for this purpose.

If the whistleblower has the impression that the Internal Reporting Office cannot effectively remedy the reported incident, he/she is free to contact the External Reporting Office. Responsibility of the internal reporting office according to § 2 HinSchG

The internal reporting office is responsible for the following violations of the law in accordance with Section 2 HinSchG:

  • Violations that are punishable by law,
  • Violations that are subject to a fine if the violated regulation serves to protect life, limb or health or to protect the rights of employees or their representative bodies,
  • other violations of federal and state legislation and directly applicable legal acts of the European Union and the European Atomic Energy Community


These include, among others:

  • Combating money laundering and terrorist financing,
  • Product safety and conformity,
  • Protection of privacy in electronic communications, to protect the confidentiality of communications, to protect personal data,
  • Security in information technology.
  • Financial and tax law violations
  • Violations of federal and uniformly applicable regulations for contracting authorities on the procedure for awarding public contracts and concessions and on legal protection in these procedures once the relevant EU thresholds have been reached.

Information on the handling of the whistleblower’s data

The personal data of the reporting person will be treated confidentially by the internal reporting office and will not be passed on to third parties. Should it be necessary to disclose information about the whistleblower to third parties due to a legal obligation or to further clarify the reported violation, the internal reporting office will contact the whistleblower beforehand.

The information provided by the whistleblower is voluntary. However, providing contact details makes it easier to communicate with the internal reporting office and speeds up the process of investigating the report. The Internal Reporting Office also processes anonymous reports.

If the whistleblower provides information about their personal data, by submitting the report they consent to the Internal Reporting Office processing and storing this data for the purpose of clarifying the report and contacting them. This consent can be revoked at any time for the future.
